Dear Mr Mehta,
With reference to your complaint regarding noises from my flat last night, I’m sorry for the inconvenience happened to you last night, as work in late shift and yesterday happened to be my birthday therefore some on close friends came to my residence to surprise me.
I am really very sorry for the trouble caused due to loud music at late hours in the night. Since this has happened for the first time and even I am also not aware about the same, otherwise I would have avoided such party in night.
I will make sure that this is the first and the last time you are hearing music in such loud volume during night from my apartment. However from the next time I will make sure even if there is any party held at my place it would either be on weekends or with minimum trouble to you.
I hope this unpleasant situation hasn’t hurt our friendship.
