You agreed to take a particular job over the summer, but due to unforeseen circumstances, you can no longer take the position. Write a letter including:
– Explaining your situation
– An apology
– Express that you would be interested in the position next summer
I am writing this letter to apologize with regards to the contract of a job, I have agreed upon, for over the summer period, at your orchestra, -Opera music and arts centre located in Sharjah, because of unplanned reason.
To begin with, unfortunately, I will not be able to keep this agreement. I have maternal health issues. As I conceived a week ago. Consequently, I am suffering from extreme nausea, heartburn, and feeling low. Thus, making it difficult for me to fulfill the job responsibility.
I would first like, to sincerely apologize, not only for inconveniencing you, but also failing to pursue this golden opportunity. As I desperately wanted to get experience from your music ensemble.
if you can accept my apology and if there is still an available position sometime in the near future, I would very much like to take on a position. Even if it is unpaid.
I look forward to hearing from you at the earliest.
yours faithfully
