I am a resident of Rakesh colony, sector 31, Faridabad, Haryana and our area comes under your council. The purpose of penning down this letter is regarding the inappropiate service provided by rubbish collection unit in our location, its quite bad.
initially the unit used to collect rubbish on door to door basis, me and my neighbor who are mostly working class people were happy, but from last three months no service boy appeared because of this we started to collect the dump in dump container that is established around the corner of the area and now its also full, we were expecting this dump to be removed in duration of three months but its still there. Now the pile is so big that it is dangerous in many factors.
Smell around the area is unbearable and now a home of several little insects, this situation is very unbearable.
children park is just in front of this container who are more vulnerable to several diseases and could get injured due to this huge pile while playing around. my neighbor tried to reach the office of this rubbish collection office and complained about this matter, they asked us to wait for a week as they do not have any workforce, after a week when no resolution was there I visited the office to ask about what action they took, they told me that people in area need to pay extra for this particular service and argued with me when I asked about the cost.
This is unbearable situation as their demand is illegal, on the other hand my neighbor's parents were Hospitalized and we can blame carelessness of this unit our children now and then having viral. Its a request to please look into this matter as soon as possible.
