Dear Sam,

Hope you are doing fine. I am writing this letter to let you know that I have got a scholarship to study MBA in MCT university in Sydney and I am planning to travel next month. Therefore, I am seeking your advice on the living cost and the job availability during my stay.

I have recently awarded a scholarship from my company to study MBA in MCT university. So I will be traveling directly from Dubai on 27th Jul. 2010 to Sydney. The MBA program duration is 18 months focusing on the modern ICT technology infrastructure.

My company will sponsor the tuition fees only, but I will be responsible for other expenditures cost for food, accommodation and transportation. Therefore, I need your assistance to find a part-time job in any of IT Infrastructure companies. Furthermore, would it be possible to get an accommodation nearby the university so I can avoid using the public transportation?

My updated resume has been sent to your email as I know you have a wide social network in Sydney who might be interested in my skills.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards,

John Las
