You are visiting another town next month for a short break. Write a
letter to the tourist information centre. In your letter
Tell them how long you are staying
Ask for some suggestions for what to do
Find out if there are any local events happening at the time
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Trisha M. and I am from Darjeeling.I will be visiting Nainital next month with my 3 friends.I am writing this letter to make an enquiry about few things which I have mentioned during our stay.We will stay there for a week.Though I have made some research about your hotel and came to know it is one of the best place to stay.
First,Let us know about the activities to do during our stay. For example,is there any shopping area nearby where we can visit and do shopping? Also, would like to know whether there will be any beach, fort, temple etc. to visit. Is there any arrangement to go for trekking?
As we are visiting few days before the festival of Diwali, will there be a local event happening at that time? What will be the amount to be paid if we want to take part in any local event or is it free for tourists?
Hope you will help me with all above queries.
Looking forward for your positive response.
Yours sincerely,
Trisha M.
