Dear John,
I am Manjusha C Nair, and I am writing this letter to you requesting for few days off from work on a priority basis.
As you are aware that I am doing a Technical course in correspondence, I have my exams coming up next week. Certainly, I require to take off from work during the days of my exams. The exam is scheduled from 24th of November to 30th of November.
With respect to the date schedule of my exams as already mentioned above, it is at a stretch of one week. It starts on coming Monday till the end of the week. Therefore I require to take one week off from work.
While I am away from duty, I will assure you that all the work will be covered by my colleague whom I would train with the necessary skills required for the task. Also I would be available on phone anytime between 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the next week.
