Dear Serene,
Good morning, I am writing you this letter to request you for a leave in the next month to go on a holiday.
I am working so hard for the last six months to meet the project deadline, never took an unplanned leave. Working for about 10 hours of day by handling all my tasks as well as helping other colleagues in every possible way. Weekends and public holidays are not exceptions from the last month or so. Finally, we are well appreciated by the company higher officials for submission of our work to client and closing the project on a happy note.
After such immense pressure, I would like to take a break from my work and go on a holiday to Europe where I am planning to cover United Kingdom, Germany and Paris. Please help me to approve the leave for the next month. There are only 20 working days in the coming month as per the companies calendar. This holiday will help me to work more extensively and effectively after my return, hope you can understand.
Regarding my outstanding work, I have explained my daily tasks to Harry those need to be completed on the same day. I will knowledge transfer Steve to cover the pending tickets by updating the users promptly. They can always reach me through my email for any queries but kindly excuse me for the delay may cause in replying. I want to finally conclude this by saying a big thanks to you for the help and support you have given us in all the stages of this project.
