Actually, I recently borrowed two books of English literature from the library for one week. I am worried because I would not be able to return them on time. The reason is that I have to reach Lahore today as my grandmother who lives in Lahore has fallen down from staircase and got injured her ankle. My parents are out of country so I am the only family member who can look after her. Therefore, I am leaving for Lahore today to be with her in hospital.
Those books have handed over to my friend whose name is Maria. She is responsible of bringing them back to you within one or two days. I hope that you would complete rest of the process of receiving the books and I would not be charged a fine/penalty. I wish my grandmother could recover as soon as possible.
It will be a huge favor if you show your support and coöperation in this regard. I am looking forward to visiting you soon.
