Respected Sir/Madam,
My name is John Carey and I am a second year M.B.A student. Recently I borrowed few Marketing reading materials from the library for my presentation on 5 P’s of marketing. However, I regret to inform you that due to some unforeseen circumstances, I won’t be able to return them on the due date.
Let me explain it to you in detail. Yesterday I received the news of my Grandmother’s sickness from our native place and I had to hurriedly embark on the flight to Udaipur. It was only when I reached there, I remembered that the due date for returning the book was on 24-Jan ; tomorrow. However, despite my best efforts, I won’t able to reach Mumbai till 1 week of Feb, as doctor have advised bed rest to my granny and there is no one to take care of her.
Could you please consider this situation as and exception and waive off the late fee penalty which is applicable? I assure you that such incident won’t be repeated in future from my end.
