Dear Mr. John,
I am writing to inform you that unfortunately yesterday I forgot to collect my bag from the gym’s locker room.
My name is Jacob Carlos and I am a member of your fitness center since past 2 years. Although I had read the notice on the notice board regarding the closure of the gym between 12-Jan to 19-Jan, I request you to search for it and update me so that I can collect the same as it has many items which are important for me both personally and professionally.
Let me explain it to you in detail. I was training in the gym yesterday evening when and important call from my home caught my attention and in hurry I completely forgot to collect my bag. The bag is navy blue in colour with brand name American Tourister embossed in the front. Apart from this it has 2 compartments and a side pouch with my water bottle in it. The bag contains few important office papers and a brand new mobile phone which I have recently purchased for my dad’s 50th birthday. Since my dad’s birthday is day after tomorrow and because I want him to gift him the present on his birthday, I request you to help me find the bag as soon as possible.
Could you please contact on my mobile number which is registered with the gym so that I could come over and collect the bag? I would be extremely grateful to you, if you do this favour on me.
