I am Krishna. I applied at your College for a one year course on “Data Communication”. I am glad to know that your college is willing to give me a chance to join by inviting me to attend the interview for the course. Unfortunately, I am afraid to inform you that I will not be able to attend the interview on the scheduled date which is the 27th March.
I have been working in a Multi-national company for the past 3 years. One important seminar is going to happen on 27th March and I have already made a commitment to my boss that I will be there to participate in the seminar. It is necessary for my work to attend the Seminar and I can not bail on my commitment.
Therefore, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience and would like to request you to reschedule my interview. It is important for me to join the course as I want to upgrade my skill so I would highly appreciate it if you can allow me to attend the interview on another day. It would be great if you could provide details of the interview duration so that I will be able to understand that I should take a half-day or full-day leave at my work. My sincere apology for the inconvenience and hope you would accept my request to reschedule the interview.
