- tell your employer what you have planned to do after leaving your present employment
- say what you have gain from working for the company
Dear Mr. Johnson,
I am writing this letter regarding my resignation that you have been received.
First of all, I sincerely appreciate all your support and kindness throughout these years of working for you; you it has been full of high-level experience and has made me well-suited that manager in this field. The fact is I have recently come to the conclusion that it is the best time to commence my own business. I truly believe that now I have all the skills needed.
Furthermore, I must arrange to recruit around 5 employees for the available positions in the company. I am positive it is going to be a great challenge to find the most suitable candidates. Also, I need to purchase enough equipment and facilities for the main office such as tables and chairs, a refrigerator and a good coffee maker for the staff.
Again, I should thank you for the opportunity and all the life-time lessons that you shared with me. Things like how to pursue their potential customers or how to manage the funds well cannot be learnt in any books or courses.
Thank you very much.
Yours sincerely,
Jason James
