You have a full-time job and you are also doing a part-time evening course. You now find that you cannot continue the course.
Write a letter to your teachers. In your letter:
describe the situation
explain why you cannot continue at this time
say what action you would like to take
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to inform you that I can hardly keep studying English in the evening. I have been taking this course since July, but this morning my manager expressed his dissatisfaction with my performance at work.
My supervisor frequently sees me doing my homework at lunchtime. It seemingly makes him think that my workload is not adequate. Therefore, recently my boss has decided to increase my workload twice by charging me with an extra responsibility as a business analyst. I have tried to explain him that lunchtime is my break from duties at office, but he is reluctant to listen to my reasoning. As a result, I often have to do overtime, which sometimes affects my academic progress at Interpress as well.
I would like to continue my education, but my boss seems to intend to dismiss me, if he sees me learning English. Honestly, I do not want to lose my job, as it is both high-paid and interesting. As an action, I would be grateful, if you allow me to temporary suspend my study till next month. By that time, I think that I will have finished my current project, and my boss will stop to monitor me. It would let me continue my language training and graduate from your education center without the need to start it again from the beginning.
I also do not want to lose the opportunity to study at your school due to this unpleasant situation with my manager. I look forward to your reply as soon as possible. You can either email me at tolikxxx@mail.ru or phone me on the following number 87001444413.
Yours faithfully,
Tolegen
