Good Day!
I have just returned from a week long holiday to Maldives. I, along with my husband and 2 children took this trip. The to and fro journey was good. However, there was a problem at the hotel.
Once we reached there we were informed that the sunset villa which we had booked would not available for 2 days. There was a miscommunication with the hotel staff about our arrival. As a result we had to move to a smaller room for those 2 days. Never the less complimentary wine and chocolates were provided to make up for the inconvenience.
Also, there was some goof up with the dinner reservations. We had requested you to reserve the seaside dinner for my daughter's birthday. However bookings for the same were not done. Hence, we couldn't celebrate her birthday as planned. The whole point of this family trip was to celebrate the birthday. My family was very disappointed.
After reading a lot of reviews we decided to go with your travel agency. But the experience was not so pleasant. I would like to request a refund regarding the seaside dinner as the payment was made in advance. The inconvenience regarding the rooms were compensated for however the irresponsibility regarding the dinner reservation is not acceptable.
Overall the holiday was long awaited and we enjoyed thoroughly. Looking forward to a positive reply.
