You have just moved into a new home and are planning to hold a party. You are worried that noise may disturb your neighbor.
Write a letter to your neighbor. In your letter:
• introduce yourself
• describe your plans for the party
• invite your neighbor to come
Dear Mr. Johnson,
I am writing this letter with regard to a party that I am planning to celebrate my new house in Ho Chi Minh City.
As I have just settled in the town, I would like to give an introduction about myself. My name is Truong Nguyen and I come with a family of four. My hometown is in Danang, but my wife and I have decided to move to Ho Chi Minh City for my new job and better education for my two sons.
As for the celebration party, I will organize it on the next Saturday night. It will be a small barbeque party in my backyard with some friends and relatives. Also, we may do some karaoke so I am quite worried that you may be disturbed during this time but I will try my best to reduce the noise.
If you are free on that day, it would be my pleasure to have you and your family in my party. I think it would be a great opportunity for me to know about my next-door neighbor.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Truong Nguyen
