How are you doing? I hope this letter finds in good health and mental peace. I received your last letter and i'm glad you're interested in recent news trends in India. I can you give you a brief insight about the few of the major issues which are affecting large population.
First of all, The parliament elections are around the corner, so most of the parties are actively endorsing their agenda over almost all forms of media. You can follow daily debates by various candidates, on some of the famous news channel, such as AajTak TV. By looking at popularity, in my opinion, Janta Dal party is leading the battle so far. Secondly, there is huge debate ongoing regarding women safety, especially in metro cities, due to increasing number of rape incidents these days. People are furious with the governments because of their inability to established a proper law and order.
These are the major affairs which are affecting a large crowd. I can refer you to a media expert if you need to carry out further investigation.
