Dear Stan, trust you and your family are doing great today. It has been a long time since we last saw, but I have not forgotten all the good times we spent together as teenagers.
Recently, I visited the museum which is called"The Ojukwu Bunker". This museum is situated in Umuahia, Abia State, and the address is No 45 Finbars Road. It has a land mass of about 2000 square meters, and it is known to be the biggest tourist center in eastern part of Nigeria.
Upon getting to the museum, I saw the office of the Biafran leader "Chukwuemeka Ojukwu" stayed whenever he entertained any press conferences. Secondly, I saw the situation room where the Biafran leader gave out orders to the Biafran soldiers during the Nigerian Civil War. In addition, we were showed the tunnels where Ojukwu escaped from when the Nigerian soldiers where closing in on the Biafran land.
The feeling I got after seeing those things I mentioned above in the museum was a mixed one. The history of the Nigerian Civil War kept on flashing through my mind, and it made me vakue museums for retaining such histories for the future generations.
