you live in an English speaking country and you want to do some voluntary, unpaid work in a developing country.
Write a letter to a company called Cultural Expeditions, which organizes such trips. In your letter:
Explain why you want to do the voluntary work.
State what your skills and experience are.
Indicate where you would like to volunteer and for how long.
Begin your letter as follows: Dear Sir / Madam
You should write at least 150 words. You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing this letter to get information about voluntary work. While being in a foreign country, knowledge about the culture and system of the nation is essential
for me. Though I can build my social network as well as fun for me.
Let me explain my background in more detail. From a professional point of view, I am graduated from civil engineering and two-year experience in the construction
field as a site engineer back home. However, during my studies, I used to be a tour guide as a volunteer in the state of Rajasthan. Actually, It is famous for many historic places, so umpteen of foreigners come from different countries which accelerate my language skills. I learnt many different languages such as English, French and
so on.
Basically, I am willing to work with a community centre that is round the corner of my house. Because it is not only a fantastic place to interact with different people but also enhance my communication skills. As a result, I can boost my confidence and I will become independent sooner.
Moreover, I am planning to be in volunteer work at least for two years minimum. In this time frame, I will be able to make my social network which will be helpful
for me in later in searching jobs.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours Faithfully,
Hitesh
