You live in a room in a college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter
describe the situation
explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to inform you that due to current arrangements to share college hostel room with another student my grades in the last semester examinations has been very low as I found it hard to concentrate on my studies.
There are couple of problems which I face due to the room sharing arrangements. The student with whom I share my room always play music due to which I am not able to focus on my study. He always make the room dirty and untide which wastes my time and efforts to arrange the stuff in a proper manner. Moreover, my roommate often party with his friend s inside the room as a result I am not able to study hard and complete my projects in a timely manner. I believe this arrangement will spoil my objective of enrolling into the current course and opting for a accommodation inside college premises got more time to study.
I would rather prefer to get an accommodation wherein I will not share my room with another student. The another option which will work is to have some kind of partition arrangement within the room so that it will give space to study. I am looking forward to hear from you regarding new accommodation to be made available for me.
Thanking you
