You play a team sport with some friends. Last week a member of the team had an accident and wasn't able to play with you at the weekend. You decide to write to him in hospital, telling him about the match. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
• tell him which team won
• describe the conditions on the day
• say how you felt about the match

Dear Alex,

Hi, hope you are recovering faster and would love to see you back in the ground soon. I am excited to tell you about the yesterdays' qualifier match for which we were selected. The match between Exide XI and trf was won by the later team with 2-0 final result and we will be facing TRF in the final match coming week. Now I would like to waffle you about our match which was played in the scorching heat in mid day. I was playing center forward and shantanu was our right centre and rinku was playing from your position from left. We were struggled a lot in the first half and just managed to keep draw.
While the second half of the game was no different and TML team were firing goals like tanks but I would appreciate our great wall sudarshan who was neither got down nor tensed. Sudarshan almost guarded almost a dozen goals and finally just before the final whistle rinku gave a fantastic pass which was converted in goal by shantanu and that created history and we landed into final.

Hence the final score was 1-0, this was the moment of joy for all of us and I would owe this win to my giant goalkeeper Sudarshan. I wish you were with us at this moment of celebration. Get well soon.
