Dear John,
I hope you are doing speedy recovery from the accident you meet last week. Unfortunately for you and the team that you could not participate in the last week game also, therefore, I decided to write a letter to inform you that our team have won the game against South hall team and with that win, we have qualified for the finals which will be played on coming Sunday.
Further, I like to inform you, that the weather of the game was not good for us at early morning hours because of the rain which interrupted the field few times, later in the afternoon the sun starts shining and it remains till the end of the match.
Everybody is excited after winning this game and I am happy to reach this stage and feeling confident for the upcoming final.
Your absence has created a difficulty for us in the maintaining the batting line up and team management is looking for the alternate option till you are declared fit for the play.
Get well soon my friend, hope to see you early on the field.
