You recently organised an all-day meeting for your company, which took
place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that
they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served
for lunch.
Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter
say what the participants liked about the hotel
explain why they were unhappy about the food
suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am Prabhjot, an employee in Tata Consultancy Services. Last Monday, our company organised a one-day meeting with our Europe clients on the premises of your renowned hotel. I am writing this letter to inform you that the participants have shared overall positive feedback about their visit to the hotel except for the quality of food they were offered.
There are a number of points marked in the praise of the hotel. First, the hospitality provided by the courteous staff was remarkable. They were all quite humble and guided the participants about the meeting schedule. Moreover, they took better care for their timely meals and other necessary requirements. Secondly, clients were extremely impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel area which lead to their comfortable stay.
Nevertheless, despite many positive reviews, there exist one negative as well. Our clients did not like the cuisines offered in the lunch, as it contained the excess usage of oil and salt. Additionally, there was not a single European dish of their taste which left many of them hungry.
In order to work on these feedbacks, I suggest you hire some professional chefs who can prepare a variety of food, especially for the important events. Also, add some additional cuisines of different countries on the menu to meet the demands of foreign visitors.
I hope my suggestions receive your agreement and will look forward to your prompt actions.
Yours sincerely,
Prabhjot Kaur
