You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he / she should get a job.Write a letter to this friend. In your letter- Say why he / she would not enjoy going to college- Exp

Dear Steve,

Thank you for your letter. I am glad to hear that you as well as your girlfriend are well, and your mother's operation was successful and she is doing fine now. I am quite excited to know that you have completed your higher secondary education with flying colors, and you need my advice to make an important decision if you should go for further study or search for a job.

I can understand it is a tough choice to make but I am sure that you will choose wisely. I strongly suggest that you should go for a job. The primary reason being the cost associated with the further studies. As your family has just come out from a financial crisis, the cost can be overwhelming. I feel that you should postpone your graduation for a while. A job will allow you to save money, which later can be used to fund your education.

As you have taken a vocational training in a manufacturing industry, I would suggest searching for a job in this sector. This will not only give you a great experience but also will help you in the future as you are planning to study mechanical engineering in the future. You can also choose to work as Ola or Uber driver and earn a decent income. However, I will recommend the first option as it suits your interests.

Let me know what do you think about my suggestion, and feel free to shoot a mail if you have more questions.

Best of Luck,
Nazir Sumara
