You rent an apartment and recently a new neighbour has moved in who lives above you. They are making a lot of noise and this is disturbing you.
Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter:
Explain what the problem is
Explain why it is disturbing you so much
Tell your landlord what you would like him/her to do about it
Dear neighbor,
First of all, I welcome you to the new house. I hope this home comes with more happiness in your life.
Although, I have a concern related to the noise coming from your house. Currently, I am studying in a local college in the final semester and I have an examination coming next week. For studies, I require peace and also a sound sleep to concentrate better in my studies, yet the voice of music coming from your home is making me unable to study or sleep.
The volume is that louder that even after closing my windows I am able to hear the complete music.
I won't say to close the music though if you could lower down the volume after 10 pm that would be appreciatable. also, It would be great if you close your window so that the voice will not come outside. my exam would be ended by this month and I will go to my hometown for the next complete month. Probably at that time you could play your music.
Your Faithfully,
Aman
