Write a letter to this friend. In your letter:

• mention why you cannot attend the birthday party

Hello, how are you? I am writing this letter to express my happiness and congratulate you on the 8th Birthday party of Julie but I apologise that I will not be able to attend the party
I wish Julie a very Happy Birthday. May God bless her with lots of love and all her wishes and desires come true. I would also like to thank you for inviting me to her birthday party. I owe her a birthday present so do let me know her choices and preferences?
I express my regret as I will not be a part of birthday party as last month, I was promoted to the position of senior manager in my organisation and I have to manage all the work and ensure that there are no faults. Moreover, since it is the end of the financial year there is a lot of work pressure and many crucial projects of the organisation has to be completed within the deadline to ensure company’s growth an investor’s satisfaction.
I will organise all my work in the office and will plan a visit to meet you and Julie in Canada next month. I will try to stay with you for a couple of days.
Once again, I ask for forgiveness for not being a part of Julie’s Birthday party.
