I am Mary from south local community. I am writing this letter to complain regarding to the problems of this museum.
Our local museum is one of our city historical tourist spots, in which we are proud of. So, plenty of people from other cities visit and tour the museum. I’ve noticed that this museum has some problems for disabled people. I’ve invited my friend who is older and not able to look around without a wheelchair to our city and visit this museum last weekend. I felt it was uncomfortable to get around. Firstly, the descriptions are located to high for people in wheelchairs and children. My friend couldn’t read all of the information and needed my help to understand every piece of art. Secondly, there was no access for wheelchairs to short-cut movie section because of the stairs.
I suggest you solve these problems and make the descriptions lower, so all people can read it and remove the stairs. If you consider my opinions, It would be helpful for the museum.
Sincerely,
Mary
