You took your family to a nearby restaurant. You were disappointed with the meal and wish to complain to the manager. Write a letter to the manager of the restaurant.
In the letter:
explain why you were at the restaurant (what event)
describe the problems (the problem)
write about the action you want the manager to take
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the meal that my family had at your restaurant last Sunday, October 7. On that day we were celebrating my daughter's birthday in the circle of both relatives and close friends.
My family has been visiting your restaurant for two years, because the menu includes a great variety of cousins. My daughter has always liked the apple ice-cream cake, so two days before this occasion, I wanted to order it for her. However, the waiters informed me that the chef was sick and would not be able to prepare it, so they suggested me to replace it with the orange one. Although it was not her favorite cake, I decided to purchase it, because I did not want to disappoint her. Oh her birthday, my family and friends arrived to your restaurant, and everything went as expected, but as soon as we tasted the cake, we felt the small of rotten eggs. It was so disgusting that my daughter burst into crying. Fortunately, my wife calmed her down quickly, since we did not want to irritate the other guests in the neighboring tables. I called for the manager immediately, but the waiters explained me that he was on vacation and would be available in seven days.
I think that you understand that the stale cake ruined my daughter's celebration and that I want to you to compensate it with either a full refund or something else. Otherwise, I would have to address to the authority for help.
Yours faithfully,
Tolegen
