Essay topics:

You want to improve your knowledge of a foreign language which can help you at work. Write a letter to a foreign language teacher and say:

1. Where did you hear about the teacher?
2. Why do you want to learn the foreign language?
3. Ask some questions about the course?

Dear Ms. Greg,

My name is Reena and I heard about you from your former student Ria. I told her that I am curious to improve my French language then she insisted me to talk to you.

I am a software engineer at a multinational company. I am very keen on learning French because most of the clients are from Quebec, Canada and French is its regional language. I am very fluent in English even though I want to learn French as it will enhance not only build an impression on clients but also enhance my resume.

I am interested in joining the course but before that, I have some queries. Can I have a demo class? When the course will start? How long would be the course? What would be the fee for the course? After completion of course whether I will be given an appropriate certificate? Either there will any exam? Will I be taught speaking and writing both?

I am waiting for your reply.

Yours Faithfully,
Jot
