Dear Sir,
I hope your day is going great. I am writing this letter to apologize for my absence at the recent event held by the company. The event which was entitled 'Youths and Drug Abuse' took place on 4th February 2023, and this event is an eye opener for the youths in the state.
However, this event was a very important one because it outlined the dangers youths faced due to drug abuse. Also, instances were given so that these youths can understand what will happen to them if they decide to use drugs. Furthermore, since youths use drugs a lot recently, holding this event was a necessity.
So, the reason I missed this great event was because I received a call this morning that I lost my uncle. Also, I had to take his corpse to the mortuary given that I am the only family he has.
