Essay topics:

You work for an international company and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country.

Write a letter to your manager. In your letter.

Explain why you want to work in the company’s head office for six months.

Say how your work could be done while you are away.

Ask for his/ her help in arranging it.

Dear Mr. Robert,

My name is Julie Dukson, Assistant Engineer in the Mechanical Department. I am writing this letter in regards to the new training program in London.

I am really interested in joining the new course that is organized in the head office in London. The course description is directly related to my profile and will enhance my capabilities a lot. As it is a six-month extensive training only on mechanical advances that I am currently working on, it will give me an edge in my upcoming projects.

While completing my training, I will also handle my work. Moreover, we can indulge in all the meetings and keep updated about my work here. Furthermore, I can brief about my work to my colleague Rebecca, who is my teammate, hence will be able to look through when I am not there.

I will really appreciate if you will refer me for this from our department, and help me get prepared for this opportunity.

Yours Sincerely,
Julie Dukson.
