Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to you to ask for your approval and support in a certain issue. I am hoping to be transferred to the corporate headquarters a period of six months. This transfer will make it possible for me to attend an on job training that will be held from March to August. This training is the most important one for me, because it will help me improve my professionalism in the job together with improving my managerial skills.
I did arrange with my relief Mr. Smith to cover my job responsibilities during my absence after I trained him for the most important tasks. He has agreed about keeping in touch with me and keeping me informed with the updates. I will be available for supporting him through e-mails if possible.
I need to ask for you approval to assign Mr. Smith to act as the section head instead of me and accept his signature.
I hope to receive your feedback soon enough in order to start my arrangement
