Dear Mr Shah,
I am writing to seek permission to go on a two-week vacation starting next month. My travel was planned few weeks ago but it got confirmed just yesterday. I will be going on a Europe tour with my family and since July is an ideal season, I decided to make use of the opportunity to tour the continent.
I would appreciate if you could kindly grant me 15 days of leave from July 1 to July 15. I will be available in office till June 31 after which I will be travelling and I will resume work from July 16. I hope my absence does not cause inconvenience to you and to the team.
Since I have completed all the pending tasks, there should not be any critical blocker for the team. However, some priority jobs are assigned and distributed to my colleagues so that the work continues without any hassle from the management. Moreover, I will be available online on my mobile most of the time during my trip and hence I would be glad to provide solutions in case of any emergency.
I request you to kindly approve the required leaves. Hoping for a positive response.
