Dear sir,
I would like my child to have a day off from school for an important family celebration. This is my first son’s wedding in another state; it will take place on 7th of December 2022.
The entire family will be leaving Asaba to Enugu on the 6th of December 2022, because the occasion is by 11am on 7th of December. My eldest child will be glad to have his siblings around him on this special day. He will have the opportunity to meet his cousins, his grandparents and other family members he has not met before that resides overseas.
However, I understand the implications of my child’s absence from school, so I and my family will return on the same day immediately after the occasion, to enable him be in school on the 8th of December. I’ll pay attention to the subjects my child missed by employing the teacher during the weekend to teach him every subject he missed to enable him catch up with studies.
I will be glad if my request is granted.
