Your child is going on a trip to another country for 3 days. School is looking for some parents who can join the trip and you decided to apply for the same. You are interested in going with trip. Write a letter to the head of the school and include:
• Why you want to join the team
• What you can do to assist
• Queries related to the trip.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter in regards to the upcoming trip to Singapore. Since, the school is on a lookout for a parent to accompany the students and my child is also a part of the same group, I have decided to submit my application of interest. As you are aware, I am a doctor and my work location is Singapore, hence, I'm quite familiar with the place.
Let me explain my contribution in detail. Firstly, the students can stay at my house as it is very big and spacious to accommodate all, thus saving the cost of lodging. Secondly, I can provide some useful insights on the itinerary to make the trip not just educational but also relaxing for the students. Lastly, since I am in the medical profession the safely and well-being of the children will be given utmost importance.
However, I would like to ask a few questions regarding the cost of the trip. Could you please let me know if my flight and food expenses will be covered by the school or I need to bear them?
Looking forward to your reply.
Yours Faithfully,
Mary Smith
