Your company introduced a work uniform that you are mostly happy with, except for one thing. Write a letter to your manager and include the following:
– What do you like about the uniform?
– What don’t you like about the uniform?
– Make suggestions how to improve the uniform.
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to express my opinion about the recent dress code introduced in our organisation.
At the onset, one thing that delighted me is the colour of the uniform. As it is always preferred to wear light shades in the work environment, this greenish color of our uniform will serve the purpose. Moreover, a dress code also reflects professionalism, which is the key to maintain discipline.
One thing that annoyed me about the work uniform is that it is similar for all the employees. Same kind of uniform will definitely make it difficult to recognize male and female workers and often leads to confusion and misunderstanding.
I believe so because both gender has different comfort requirements. I would suggest that there should be a unique attire for female staff. Instead of trousers, women can wear skirts or tunics, which will help them to feel comfortable.
I hope you will consider my opinion.
Yours sincerely,
Anne Milton
