Write a letter to console your friend. In your letter:
Express your sympathy
Include memories you have about the dog
Invite your friend to do something with you
Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ___,
I would like to express my deepest condolences to you and your wife, Vidhi.
I received your letter stating that your dog, Tom passed away recently and I was heartbroken. I can imagine what you and your spouse are going through right now as Tom was a part of your family for more than 10 years. Tom's memories will always be cherished by us for a long time.
I still recollect the first time I met Tom at your place when he just a 2 months old puppy. He was so active and obedient and he really gave me a warm welcome. Also, the memory of him swimming in the lake is cherished by me when we took him on the trip for the first time. You trained him excellently and he was so calm the whole trip but the moment he saw the lake he was so excited to playful day.
I know it's a really hard time for you but I'd like you to come over for dinner this Sunday at my place. I will prepare your favourite meal and we could just cherish Tom's memories and have a joyful time.
I'm sending you a big hug. Please let me know if you need anything.
Your friend,
Mrinal
