I am writing this letter to draw your attention to the importance of fitness club in this area. Unfortunately, closing this center have a few drawbacks for the locals and I will explain my reasons in the following.
This center has provided a variety of facilities for locals in all ages groups. To explain more, a board range of running machines are available for youngsters and middle aged people. Furthermore, recently, a few exercising classes such as yoga and Pilates has been run for the pensioners. Besides, children have been well catered in this club while their parents are doing exercises.
I would say, this fitness club is important for most residents in this area. At first, it is easy walking distance for most settlements. Furthermore, some youths have launched a coffee shop and restaurant there which make the center more pleasant and enjoyable.
In my opinion, closing this venue is not a good idea for some reasons. Firstly, locals have to drive to other gyms, which are far away from them. In fact, not only it is too costly for them, it will also increase congestion and air pollution in the city. Apart from that, a large fraction of staff, trainers and even freelance people will be unemployed.
I hope you weigh all sides and then make a reasonable decision for this center.
