Dear Mr. Smith,
I am Sara, your neighbor, living next to your apartment. I am writing is to complain about the garbage you often burn in front of my apartment.I have been witnessing this since long, but then I thought that it is temporary and would be fixed. Unfortunately, now burning of garbage is being noticed every week or so. Therefore, I decided to put my pen on paper.
Burning garbage near one's house is unacceptable and unethical behavior in the society. Moreover, my mother has an asthma problem and it causes her suffocation by inhaling toxic air coming from the burning of garbage. As you know, in the evening my family usually to sit together and spend quality of time in our lawn. Sadly, we are not able to do so or step outside our house because of fumes of toxic air. I am sure you will understand that this is cause of nuisance for all of us.
Hopefully, you would not take this letter as offended. My only intention is to solve this problem mutually. I think that you should start availing the services of municipal corporation, they tend to collect garbage on daily basis. Municipal authorities will either dump or take your garbage into incineration ground and that will be for benefit of society and environment.
I hope you will understand my concern and let me know If we can do anything else together.
