Greetings!
Hope you are doing great. I am writing this letter in response to your complaint about the heavy noise for my flat. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and would like to explain myself, humbly and ask for your forgiveness.
This is mainly because of our upcoming wedding anniversary preparations; we had decided to hire a firm to renovate our house in the available short period. Hence, they had to bring heavy machinery to complete the assigned work. This could be the reason you might have heard abnormal noise from the flat. We were unaware of the fact that the sound would reach your house. I already instructed them to reduce the noise level and close all the windows so that it the noise level reduces.
I hope this measure would appease you. By the way, the work would complete tomorrow. Please get back to us in personal if you hear any further noise from our flat.
I am extremely apologetic for the disturbance caused by it and will ensure that you are not bothered by it going forward. I will instruct the plumber to do the repair work only during office hours when most of you are at work. In addition, I will ensure that no repair work done on weekends, so that you can enjoy a peaceful weekend with your family at home.
