Hope you are doing great. I am writing this letter in response to your complaint letter you sent me yesterday about the noise from my flat. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and would like to explain myself, humbly ask for you forgiveness.
On our upcoming wedding anniversary celebrations, we had decided to renovate our house hence we had hired a firm last week for this purpose. Since they had very little time to complete, they finish the work faster they had to bring heavy machinery. This could be the reason you might have heard abnormal noise from our flat. To be honest, I was unaware that the sound would reach your house. I really regret the incident and I owe you any apology. I have already instructed the personnel to tone down the noise level because of which your apartment should already be relatively silent. I hope this measure would appease you. By the way, the work would be complete by tomorrow.
Once again, I am extremely sorry for any annoyance caused by my action. I hope you would accept my apology. Thanks for your patience on this matter. Please come by tomorrow evening so that I take you around my freshly revamped flat.
