Dear Mr. Walter,
My name is Spoorthi and I am taking a 10-week fast track course on automotive engineering in your esteemed university. My company is bearing the expenses to pay for my tuition and accommodation fee. It is expected of me that I make the best use of this course to be able to apply the same at work.
I am staying in Whitehall hostel near to the campus. When I organized my accommodation, I was told that I would be given a single-occupancy room. However, the room that is provided to me is shared by two other mates. Moreover, they seem to be here for summer course on music and hence keep playing the instruments at high volume.
Despite requesting multiple times to lower the volume, I have not seen any major difference. I am unable to focus on my course study and would like to move to a different hostel where more mature students stay and would like to have a single-occupancy. Request you to address my concern promptly. Failing which, I will be left with no alternative, but to shift to a hotel room and take back the amount paid towards the accommodation for coming months.
