I am writing this letter in response to your complaint letter yesterday regarding the noise disturbance my flat had caused.
First and foremost, I sincerely apologize and humbly ask for your forgiveness.
It so happens that yesterday I got a surprise visit of one of my very old colleague way back elementary grade. James my friend and her wife Jane went to our city for their son's first chemotherapy, and deeply asked me if they can stay at my flat for the night. Since it is very late and I can feel that they are in the struggle to save money, my heart just cannot resist it and I let them in. They had traveled unexpectedly because the hospital gave the schedule of the medicine 6am this morning and informed them late yesterday midnight.
The whole night was excruciating for all of my family members, we were not able to sleep due to the fact that my friend's son John is crying with pain, because of his stage 4 brain cancer.
Today, they already had left to start the two days treatment. I also had booked them a transient home near the hospital so that they can have their privacy.
I hope you will forgive me for any problem it had caused, and I assure you that this will not happen again.
