Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter in response to the complain that you have regarding the noise in our house. Actually as you know summer vacations are going on and adding to that my sister's family is here to visit us with her children. When kids are together they make a lot of noise when they are playing together, arguing with each other, or fighting for sweets.
I would like to apologize for the noise that they are making, I understand that you have elderly people at home and they need rest in afternoon. I would really appreciate your understanding and thank you for not filing a formal complain at the community office. Its very thoughtful of you, for talking to me first and giving me a chance to resolve your problem.
I would like to assure you that I would make sure that children's are not making noise in the afternoon from 2pm to 5pm. I would plan some activity in that time like, taking them to the near by park or to a gaming parlor so that they can play there. I hope this will work out and I really thank you for you understanding the situation once again. Along with this letter I am also sending some sweets for the inconvenience that I have caused.
