The diagram illustrates how many billions KWH of electricity were produced and were consumed by the top ten countries during the year of 2014.
Overall, the most obvious pieces of information are that China showed its superiority over other countries which produced and used electricity at that year. In addition, the ten countries had a larger number in the production of electricity than the consumption of that, except Germany.
Moving to more detailed analysis, in 2014, China had a higher figure for electricity production and usage that was accounted for 5,398 and 5,322 each –the largest number of this sector. The second top rank was United States, which was listed at 4,099 (production) and 3,866 (consumption). These were followed by Russia, Japan, India, Canada, France, Brazil, Germany, and Korea Rep, which were ranged from 1,057 to 485,1 respectively for electricity production and from 1,038 to 449,5 successively in the usage of electricity.
Subsequently, it is clearly seen that the electricity produced had a higher level than electricity used in almost ten countries. Only did Germany have the number of consumption electricity (582.5) dominating that of electricity generated (526.6). This means that Germany lack the production of during the period.
