The impact that the growing demand for more flights has had on the environment is a major concern for many countries. Some people believe that one way to limit the number of people travelling by air is to increase tax on flights.
To what extent do you think this could solve the problem?
In this contemporary, era due to advancement of technology people are more rely on it such as flights which is rapidly increasing day by day and it has adverse impact on environment which is facing by several countries but some reckon that implying more tax on aircrafts is the only way to reduce in usage of planes among traveller. I am agree with the given statement and reasons for my inclination is given in trial trial in trial trial paragraphs.
To begin with, there are several solution if tax is levying more on air transport. Foremost one is, fewer usage of domestic flights because people who commute for shorter distance in their leisure time they become lesser and instead of flight they use other transport system by car or rail network.To illustrate, according to the recent survey conducted by Times of India they concluded that in 2018 by implying tax on flights there was almost 37% of traveller stop using domestic flights and increase in other means of transport. As a result, there will be a less toxic gas release in air and protect environment from damage. Moreover, white petrol which is used in flights maybe decline and save in fossil fuel to to large extent. Since, there is a less amount of pure fuel is remaining on earth and it is important to save for future for future for future. Lastly, if administration implying more tax on planes. Thus, government can generate more revenue from foreign tourist and they contribute it for the development of nation.
Unfortunately, there are a number of cons if tax is imposed on flights. Firstly, middle class people are not able to to get the experience of light of light light owing to this, their financial condition is not strong to pay extra tax. Therefore, public use vehicle to commute other place like private car or bike which also pollute the environment. Furthermore, in case of any emergency such as as as for business purpose and they have to reach in short span of span of time so, flight is very convenient for them but, because of text implied by government on air transportation business travelers do not use domestic flight. Hence, tax will be collected by private groups instead of government.
In conclusion, it is inferred that, by imposing tax have negative sides such as experience, business purpose, and many other; However, I believe that text should levying on flights to protect environment, GDP growth, and save fossil fuels.
