In the rapid urbanization, effective parenting skill has become indispensable for the upbringing of children. A segment of society believes that attending a course on parenting is mandatory to enhance the skills. This essay will shed light on my partial agreement to the statement in the following paragraphs before making a final note.
The prime factor for parents taking coaching on care-giving is engagement in a work-life. Both the parents work due to a rise in the cost of living as well as to meet the demands of their children. In this process, they are unable to spend quality time with their offspring. Thus, there are high chances that the emotional development of their wards gets hampered which can lead them towards defiant behaviour. For instance, according to one research report, children of working couples are more likely to become involved in risky, complicated behaviours, including aggression and drug use. Hence, attending lessons on nurturing could help busy couples in educating their buds.
Nevertheless, tutorials on parenting may be redundant for custodians who keep a work-life balance. To elaborate more, these parents are able to raise children without impeding their career. Moreover, they understand when their family needs more attention at the same time are adept in realizing the energy which is required for their career. Another reason for learning parenting could be superfluous is a waste of money. The centres may charge a high amount for tutoring the parenting approaches which might be impractical while applying in real-life situations. Therefore, it is needless for such fosters to learn the skill of parenting.
In conclusion, enrolling in school for enhancing styles of parenting could be beneficial in nurturing children; however, it may be unessential and misspending.
