On the one hand, I know that English for Banking and finance program has some disadvantages, especially for students who study in another language. Firstly, learning in a second language can be challenging. It can have different systems of grammar and learning thousands of new vocabulary words is not easy.
Secondly, sometimes we can not understand the lecture when we study in English. Because of the pronunciation or lack of grammar, we can not express our ideas and have difficulties in communication. When we learn in mother tongue, it is easier to gain academic knowledge of the subject we’re learning.
On the other hand, I believe that studying the ATC program brings many benefits in my college life such as knowledge, experience, friend and so on. In addition, ATC is also a stepping stone on students' way to their future. First of all, English for Banking and finance helps students who were interested in English have a chance to practice and learn in a bilingual environment. Thanks to this dynamic environment, students can access to new and interesting learning methods. For example, we have the chance to visit the embassy, create our own magazine and many other projects with amazing topics.
Additionally, when studying in ATC, we can meet a lot of lovely people from college friend to program teacher. They always support each other in any case. Therefore, it not only helps us increase the relationship but also develop ourselves at present and in the future. It is the most valuable thing i have earned when i study in this major.
In conclusion, while some negative problems are seen in studying EBF program, I do believe that choosing ATC is the best decision I have made.
