One way to solve the problem of congestion on the roads is to increase the tax on private vehicles. How could this alleviate congestion? What other measures can you suggest to deal with congestion in cities?
In the past few years, there has been an overwhelming upsurge in the number of vehicles, which can result in traffic congestion. It is suggested that a rise in the tax on private transport is likely to be an efficacious solution. My following essay will clarify the effect of this idea and also propose several potential panaceas for this problem
At the outset, increasing the tax on transport may be a contributing factor to address traffic jam on the grounds that it can diminish the number of vehicles on the street significantly. The exorbitant cost of purchasing and maintenance expenses on traveling can make individuals utilize a more affordable transport such as buses as an alternative to private cars. Nonetheless, in all likelihood, this will not be a productive method in the long run. It only can minimize a few means of transportations which are owned by middle class and the poor in preference to an enormous volume of cars, supercars, motorbikes belonging to the upper class.
Therefore, people should take other more proactive measures to resolve this challenging issue. Initially, it is crucial for the government to invest a big fund of money with the aim of upgrading the transport infrastructure. Roads which have been adversely damaged need to be replaced and reinforced in quality. Furthermore, in developing countries the authority should develop more convenient means of transportation including subways, along with their own roads for each conveyance. Besides, smart devices for example CCVT, traffic lights which can monitor road conditions also play an integral role in alleviating traffic congestion. Moreover, strict laws should take effect with a view to inhibiting illegal parking, waiting, loading and unloading which can obstructs traffic flow, reduce capacity at junctions.

laws should be taken into consideration.
