Nowadays, tourism has become a lucrative industry. The issue of tourists’ reaction to the host country's traditions and behaviour has become controversial. There are numerous conflicting ideas between those who claim that tourists should respect and follow local customs and others who assert that countries should refer to cultural differences of people who visit their countries. In what follows, both of these viewpoints will first discussed and then my own position would be delineated.
