Essay topics:

Some people think learning history in school is important. Others think learning subjects more relevant to life is important. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

While the proponents of studying history are adamant that it will prove instrumental to our life in the future, others say that attending practical subjects will have adverse implications for human society. there are myriad merits of learning history in contemporary day, but from my perspective, learning practical subjects will contribute more to our life’s experiences.

On the one hand, a great deal of advocates are inclined towards the fact that history is a key major in human life. A clear illustration for this can be depicted through the fact that attending history courses can raise people’s awareness about what happened in former days, as a result, there will be plenty of potential solutions to prevent those relevant issues that can occur in further society. Specifically, understanding the reason for wars perceptively in the past, authorities in every country will prepare the action to avoid wars from happening again.

Advocates may argue that studying those subjects is more practical to our daily life. it is understandable why some people put heavy emphasis on learning practical subjects. one of the principal occasions is that the more people learn about life, the more experieces they gain in order to boost the rate of life satisfaction level. Besides, attending a practical major will constantly enhance an individual's self-confidence on a daily basis so as to get away with life’s issues in the future as well.

In conclusion, although history courses are indeed superior to practical lessons in several facets, I am of the belief that learning life skills from subjects that are relevant to my life would never be replaced completely.
